In this episode, ill be arranging the track, creating transitions and showing you the automation used to keep things interesting! The arrangement can be a struggle for some as they are unsure of what elements to bring in, and at what point. You can go back and forth, adding in elements that either come in too soon, or you have areas of a track that sound too repetitive and become boring. This is when automation can be used to help the journey flow! The arrangement is obviously very important in a Classic Trance track, tracks back then told a much longer story than the more modern-day Trance so you need to make sure that the arrangement is doing exactly that. You need to grab the listener’s attention and take them on that journey! In this tutorial, I am going to be showing you the next stage of the track, and that is getting the structure of the track mapped out and ready for a final mixdown. This allows you to see then if any more elements are needed for your track, or if any elements are not really needed and are just wasting space in your mix.
