Classism empowered by Capitalism: A Subtle Reality
from DIDDY E ( THE BIG TALK CORNER) Hosted by Dhiddy.Esq
With many systems of the world raided by the scornful powers of capitalism, there is an even subtle power lurking the corners of reality - Classism. We see it rear its viciousness in the way we interact with each other in our public and private lives. While some of us insist on moving the states forward, the damning claws of Classism ridicule even more shamefully our audacity. When corporations dismiss lower-income women as 'not their target audience' for sanitary products, we see classism empowered by capitalism—where a biological necessity is gatekept as a financial privilege. This in turn encourages Period Poverty, Pink Tax, and commodification of Survival This episode draws essence from the world's stance to end poverty and explains how Classism does not in fact Unite us.
