Classroom/Behaviours: Empathy within - With Adam Dean Headteacher

from Crohn's and Autism Awareness Advocate · host Mason Milne

In today's episode I am joined with Adam who worked at the same special education school I went too, Adam worked there for 12 years and now is headteacher at a different school. This is a really good conversation and catch up after a good amount of years. The main topic of conversation is behaviours in today's episode. We think there should be a element to a person's behaviour where the teacher shows' empathy and understands.  Mason shares his own experience mainstream and special education within situations could of been avoided and Dean shares his own school life experience. So much discussed in today's episode.  Dean highlights we are always learning we are our own Padawan Autism is so powerful so much to learn!   Towards the end of the episode we touch of a interest of ours Doctor Who we talk about Doctor Who 60th year and the future!  Great advise from Dean: "Show Empathy!"  Thank you again Dean go listen to Dean's podcast "Classroom Behaviour Solutions!" See you all in the next episode!
