Rae and Veronica are starting Black History Month with award-winning author Rebekah Weatherspoon and the second book in her Cowboys of California series, If the Boot Fits. This Cinderella-inspired tale follows Amanda McQueen (personal assistant to an evil actress) and Sam Pleasant (recent Oscar winning actor). When a chance encounter at an after-Oscars party leads them to a steamy night, Amanda disappears into the sunrise… with Sam’s Oscar statue. Weatherspoon manages to incorporate heavy topics, but still makes us laugh real hard.
