Not too bad today with a high of just 83° and some clouds in the forecast. Good weather to mow the jungle that is my lawn. In the news this morning, the latest on an officer-involved shooting in Jackson County yesterday, Gary Day is now facing federal charges in the abduction of Sophia Franklin, a Tomah man is sentenced for child sex crimes, and the Wisconsin DMV found nearly $37 million in fraud loss from odometer rollbacks in the last year! In sports, the Brewers lost the series opener to the Guardians last night, we recapped last night's NBA playoff action including the injury to Jayson Tatum. And we talked about the NHL games from last night. Plus, a look ahead to tonight's playoff matchups in the NBA & NHL. Elsewhere in sports, could Giannis be on the move? The NFL announced it's upcoming season opener between the Cowboys & Eagles, the winning Kentucky Derby jockey is being fined & suspended for whipping his horse too much, and an Olympian gets his medals back after they were lost in a fire. We let you know what's new on New Release Tuesday and we also talked to Grant Bilse from the Wisco Sports Show. And we also played some clips from our interview with Pat Smage, who will be performing at the Big River Rally as part of the Moto Motion Entertainment stunt show! Some very cute baby raccoons were recently rescued from the Chase Center in San Francisco, a group of guys who were lost at sea for almost two months just got rescued, and a former Royal Marine just completed the longest triathlon in history. It's a pretty incredible story! There's a "newish" hack that's back in the news because of a guy from Australia. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a woman who tried to drive through a street festival so she could get to work, a guy who borrowed 100 books from his local library so he could burn them in a live video on social media, a skydiver who dropped his iPhone 14,000 feet & found it still working, and an Amazon driver who peed & pooped in people's yards while delivering packages!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
