Raman’s cutting-edge research advances climate jobs campaigns and supports eight states’ high-road climate labor policy development. Raman is a 2022 Public Voices Fellow on the Climate Crisis with the OpEd Project in partnership with Yale University, and her op-eds on climate jobs have been published in CrainsNY, The Buffalo News, Newsday, the NY Daily News, and more.Before joining Cornell ILR, Raman implemented climate adaptation projects in the Global South at UNDP and published reports analyzing national climate plans and global agreements at the U.N. Secretariat.
