Climate Change & Christianity
from PSALMS to God Hosted by Ree Hughes
The Word of God places the responsibility of the Earth in our hands, so why don't churches talk about environmental issues? Why aren't we mobilizing against the pollution of our planet the way we mobilize against other issues? "26 Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” "-Genesis 1:26-28 NASB Full Show Notes: http://www.psalmstogod.com/2021/06/climate-change-christianity.html References: The Devil We Know: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cCkADnhRqk A Plastic Ocean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zrn4-FfbXw On DuPont: https://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/10/magazine/the-lawyer-who-became-duponts-worst-nightmare.html On Plastics in the Ocean: https://serc.carleton.edu/NAGTWorkshops/health/case_studies/plastics.html Website: www.psalmstogod.com Instagram: www.instagram.com/psalms_to_god Facebook: www.facebook.com/psalmstogod7 Podcast: www.soundcloud.com/psalmstogod YouTube: https://youtu.be/uh9rBAJpvCU
