Climbing Canada’s melting glaciers

New research has found the amount of glacier ice lost in western Canada just in 2025 was 30 gigatonnes. That loss of ice isn’t just changing what the mountains look like, it’s also changing how dangerous they are. Professional mountain guides see the changes first-hand.
