For this month's clinical corner, Matt and Allie discuss a case study where a Physical Therapist was able to save a life! An 83 year old woman was referred to Physical Therapy by her doctor for back pain radiating into her hip for 2 weeks. After evaluation, and consideration of her health history, the PT requested further imaging of her spine. This then lead to a PET scan which uncovered metastatic disease, masses, nodules and carcinoma.
