Clippers End Miserable Week with Surprising Win

from 213Hoops: The Lob, The Jam, The Podcast · host Lucas Hann

Well, the Clippers are hanging on for dear life in the playoff picture right now. The team came into Sunday on a 5 game losing streak and having lost 2 of their 3 best scorers to injury. The team had already been playing pretty bad basketball, but they played a great game in San Antonio and caught the Spurs napping a bit in an afternoon game. The Clippers have done their share of napping in their home afternoon games, so this game was a welcomed showing from a Clipper team that frankly, has not been fun ot watch for quite some time. Tobias Harris and Patrick Beverley had two of their best games as Clippers, and the team got solid contributions across the board. What do the Clippers need to do to maintain their positioning in the playoffs? What about the tweaks to the rotation today, featuring changes in the starting lineup and a nice performance from pod favorite Jonathan Motley? How long can the Clippers stay afloat without their scoring punch?
