Cllr Walsh Raises Concerns Over Vehicle Damage and Safety Issues in Ballisodare

It's being claimed that over 20 vehicles have been damaged in recent weeks as a result of the state of roads in the Ballisodare area.The roads in question were recently dug up to facilitate water works by Uisce Eireann.It's understood that repair works on road surfaces in the area was carried out by Irish Water last night.Local Councillor Thomas Walsh says the number of tyres and wheels that were unnecessarily damaged as a direct result of this is a cause of concern.He says it also led to safety issues for road users.The Fine Gael Councillor says People are rightly very annoyed about this and we must ensure a better system is put in place.
