Close Yet Still Far

Andrew Cowell 7/10/12 Key Verses: Mark 12:28-34 (ESV) Before someone can enter the kingdom of God they often need answers to significant questions: 1. What keeps me outside the kingdom of God? 2. Why can't I earn my way into the kingdom of God? 3. What has God done so I can enter the kingdom of God? 4. What must I do to enter the kingdom of God? Every person needs to understand that it is possible to be a Christian in a religious sense yet still be far from having a personal relationship with Christ. The only way to enter the Kingdom of God is to trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. This means turning from trusting in your good works to depending fully upon Jesus death and resurrection to save you from your sin.
