Closer Than You Think

Sometimes, God feels distant. But in this powerful post-resurrection encounter, we’re reminded that even when we can’t see Him, He’s closer than we think. 1️⃣ Make Your Faith Personal – Mary didn’t just seek answers—she sought Jesus. The resurrection is not just an event; it’s an invitation to know Him personally (John 20:11-13, Acts 1:3, Adrian Rogers, N.T. Wright). 2️⃣ Process Your Pain Properly – God doesn’t dismiss our grief; He meets us in it. Even when we don’t recognize Him, He is present in our darkest moments (John 20:14-15, Psalm 10:1, Corrie ten Boom). 3️⃣ Listen for His Voice – One word from Jesus changed everything: “Mary.” His voice still calls us by name, bringing hope, faith, and direction (John 20:16-17, John 10:3, Romans 10:17). 4️⃣ Say Yes to the Next Step – Jesus meets us to send us. His resurrection empowers our mission to carry the message of grace, peace, and forgiveness to the world (John 20:19-23, Romans 10:9-10).
