Airbnb’s optimistic outlook suggests that travel demand remains healthy, with overall nights and seats booked jumping 10% to 148.3 million in the second quarter.- Lyft (LYFT) posted second-quarter bookings that beat expectations, citing growing demand for premium rides and strength in the European business it acquired last year. Gross bookings totaled $5.5 billion for the three months ended June 30, up 23% from a year earlier, and topped the $5.37 billion average of analyst estimates. Lyft expects the momentum to continue for the rest of the year, projecting that North American rideshare volume will grow at a faster clip in the second half of the year than in the first.- Sweetgreen (SG) cut its annual outlook after warning that diners are eating less fresh prepared foods following the cyclospora outbreak.
