Closing out 2025, Andrew Mangiapane rumours, and time is a flat circle

It's been another wild week around here with the Oilers rollercoaster making another loop, and I've got a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never ready to recap it all. On today’s podcast, I talked about the Oilers year in review, Andrew Mangiapane trade rumours, Calvin Pickard, Connor McDavid's heater, and much more.I kicked off this week's episode with a look at the Andrew Mangiapane trade rumours that kicked off this past week. Given that we haven't even made it to the midway point of his first season as an Oiler, it's hard to understand why these UFA veterans keep going sideways once they land in Edmonton. Is it a role thing? Is it too hard to play with Connor or Leon? I also spent some time on Calvin Pickard's incredible showing against the Winnipeg Jets, and gave the Oilers' backup plenty of love for stepping up when the team needed him.
