Closing Session of the Eighth South Africa-Brazil Joint Commission in Pretoria

Closing remarks by Minister Lamola and Minister Vieira in Pretoria. Minister Ronald Lamola today co-chaired the Eighth Session of the South Africa-Brazil Joint Commission (JC) with Brazil's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, in Pretoria. The Joint Commission remains the principal bilateral mechanism for overseeing, reviewing and advancing cooperation under the South Africa-Brazil Strategic Partnership across a broad range of sectors. The Seventh Session, held in Brasília on 23 April 2024, laid the groundwork for enhanced collaboration and implementation of key bilateral priorities.
