What this episode covers
Parashat Tetzaveh In times of increasing darkness, God calls His people to embrace their identity as spiritual royalty and shine His light to the world. The story of Queen Esther provides a powerful example of what it means to bear witness for God in difficult circumstances. When faced with the threat of annihilation, Esther didn’t retreat in fear but instead clothed herself in spiritual garments through fasting, prayer, and complete surrender to God’s will. The Hebrew text reveals that she put on malchut – not just royal robes, but spiritual royalty itself. This transformation came through humility, sacrificial love, and total dependence on God. God desires to clothe His people in glory and splendor, with His presence dwelling within us. Our righteous deeds, when flowing from hearts aligned with God, become garments of righteousness. Just as the craftsmen needed God’s spirit of wisdom to create the tabernacle and priestly garments, we need His wisdom to walk in righteousness today. When we surrender to God’s purposes and put on spiritual royalty through righteous living, His glory can be revealed through us, breaking through any amount of darkness in our world.
