Clothed in the righteousness of Christ

Many of us good church ppl desire to think of ourselves as good ppl—as righteous. However only by giving up on that myth that we can be righteous apart from Christ, can we be clothed in a righteousness far exceeding that of the religious folk in any age (teachers of the Law). The righteous requirements of the Law of Moses are fulfilled in those of us who hunger and thirst after His righteousness.
