Cloud 9
from We Don't Believe in Beatles Hosted by Jess Porter, Cameron Sanderson and Jack Gilligan
The year is 1987, Cameron Sanderson has finally been born and George Harrison is back... but what of the ELOphant in the room? We discuss the beginnings of George's collaboration with Jeff Lynne, the best albums of 1987, the Oriental Riff Cinematic Universe and whether it's just a bit silly to have a 10 piece band. We also for some reason decide to reinterpret the incredible B-side Shanghai Surprise as a disco banger - you're all welcome. *Editor's note... despite being aware of The Beatles' new song "Now and Then" already being out, we recorded this episode a little while ago so we do discuss it as if it is yet to come.
