Cloud 9 Vets calls on the CMA to add at-home pet euthanasia to the new mandatory vet price list

Their research indicates that a significant number of pet owners are unaware of the availability of at-home euthanasia services, and many express a preference for having a plan in place for end-of-life care. Cloud 9 Vets has also requested that the Competition and Markets Authority allow veterinary businesses to meet cremation disclosure requirements by linking to a list of regional crematoria, rather than naming a single provider, to ensure accuracy for clients. The consultation on the draft Order remains open until the 20th of August 2026.
