Quickwit searches large amounts of append only cloud data like logs or ledgers in a fraction time with significantly less cost than Elasticsearch. In this episode, we interview Paul Masurel, one of the founders of Quickwit and the creator and maintainer of Tantivy, the open source full text search engine written in Rust.
