Kevin McMillan has spent years as the invisible janitor at a struggling television station, scrubbing toilets and polishing mirrors while dreaming of something better. But when the station’s drunken meteorologist suddenly disappears minutes before a live broadcast, Kevin is shoved in front of the camera with a fake mustache, a weather screen he barely understands, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reinvent himself. Overnight, the shy, obsessive custodian becomes the station’s newest on-air personality—and discovers he possesses an impossible gift for predicting the weather with terrifying accuracy.
