Clowning, with Ed Malone (Comedy Central, Adult Swim, HBO) 1/2

Part 1 of a 3 episode release of my interview with Ed Malone (@clownguru) whom the NYTimes has called a "deft physical comedian". He's perhaps best known as a "clown guru" (or, in my understanding of that phrase -- a teacher of clowning). Students of Ed's clown class have appeared on Saturday Night Live and a variety of shows on NBC, CBS, HBO, FX, Comedy Central, Adult Swim, MTV, RT as well as major comedy venues throughout New York, including Carolines on Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club and the New York Comedy Club. Ed also teaches Clown at Suny Purchase College.
