In the wake of heightened attention on a particular coffee brewing video of Coffee Lovers TV, Jesse and I explore the 'polished' French Press brewing method. We do a side by side brew of a regular French Press and the augmented version, explaining what it is and how the coffee result differs. We also talk about people's attitudes towards this method. The particular video in question received a remarkably polarized reaction, with commenters either loving or hating it - so we explored this dynamic a little bit as well.
