It starts deep and spacious with Guy J’s Placebo, slowly picks up the groove, and somewhere along the way moves into indie dance, darker club records and a few tracks that are harder to put in a box. Which is exactly how I like it. Most of these records are new. One definitely isn’t. I couldn’t resist ending this edition with Mercury & Solace. I’ve known that record for years and somehow it still gets me every time. Some records just don’t lose it.
