NAVAL STATION ROTA, SPAIN (May 26, 2026) Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota Command Master Chief Donald Alvarado joins AFN Rota for his monthly radio show, "CMC Super Show," accompanied by Lt. Cmdr. Gregory Regts and Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Andrew Mendez from the Behavioral Health Department at Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command Rota to spread awareness about Mental Health Awareness Month and Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Salvador Sanchez and Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Jasmine Michales from Navy Environmental Preventive Medicine Unit Seven to discuss their command’s mission and their jobs. As the "Gateway to the Mediterranean," NAVSTA Rota provides U.S. NATO and allied forces a strategic hub for operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
