CMC Super Show, September 23, 2025

NAVAL STATION ROTA, SPAIN (September 23, 2025) Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota Command Master Chief Donald Alvarado joins AFN Rota for his monthly radio show, "CMC Super Show," accompanied by Christina Brewer, U.S. Navy Mass Communications Specialist Chief, and Laru Naea, U. S. Air Force Master Sergeant, to talk about their journey through Chief pinning season. Later he was joined by Bill Lapham, Intelligence Specialist Chief, and Rhiauna Rodriguez, Fire Controlman Aegis 3rd Class, from the USS Oscar Austin to talk about their latest mission and experiences on the ship. As the "Gateway to the Mediterranean," NAVSTA Rota provides U.S. NATO and allied forces a strategic hub for operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. NAVSTA Rota is a force multiplier, capable of promptly deploying and supporting combat-ready forces through land, air and sea, enabling warfighters and their families, sustaining the fleet and fostering the U.S. and Spanish partnership.
