It’s that time of year! Summer is over, Autumn is here and "Old Man Winter" is right around the corner. How can your CMMS get you ready for Winter? If your CMMS or FM system has work orders there is likely an option to build recurring schedules for various maintenance tasks that come with each seasonal change and for those tasks you should perform while that season is unfolding. The goal is to prevent any seasonal mishaps that could happen in the winter by getting a few things on schedule starting now and keeping that schedule for subsequent years.. Now, in late October, we’re going from Fall to Winter. Fall brings its own challenges with wind and debris build up around drain systems, for your buildings and grounds, while also giving you one last chance to inspect roof tops before they’re covered with snow, ice, or any heavy rain starts pouring down as winter arrives.
