CMPD investigating pair over overnight shootings

Two people were seriously injured in separate shootings overnight in Charlotte. The first incident happened in Uptown, not far from Spectrum Center. The second shooting was on Nations Ford Road near I-77 in southwest Charlotte. Both victims suffered life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
