CMS to vote on 2025-26 budget proposal

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will present its proposed $1.95 billion budget Tuesday, with student learning and safety front and center. Within the budget, $2 million would go toward student laptops, and nearly $33 million is earmarked for HVAC, roofing, and security upgrades.
