The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that medical and health services manager jobs will grow by 32% between 2020 and 2030. CMU Director of Athletics Amy Folan sits down with CMU alum Marita Hattem-Schiffman, president of MyMichigan Medical Centers in Clare, Alma and Mt. Pleasant, as well as two CMU student-athletes studying health administration — gymnast Hannah DeMers and lacrosse player Erin Owens. Marita shares the story of her career path and talks about what she does in health administration and why it is an important field of study. Hannah and Erin talk about their interest in the field, their experience in CMU’s program and what they hope to do after graduation.
