A former standout quarterback and defensive back at Churchill High School in Eugene, he played college football at Linfield University before beginning his coaching career. He previously served as the Bulldogs’ QB/WR coach and defensive coordinator before taking over the program at age 29 in 2014. Under his leadership, the team has achieved consistent success, including multiple Mid-Willamette Conference titles, numerous deep playoff runs, and multiple state semifinal appearances.
