Coach Doherty On The Brett Winterble Show
from The Brett Winterble Show Hosted by Urban One
Tune in here to this Wednesday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show! We're joined by Matt Doherty, former University of North Carolina basketball coach and executive coach, to talk about political messaging in entertainment and the growing ideological divide in America. Doherty shares his thoughts on celebrities and athletes bringing politics into concerts and sports, arguing that entertainers should focus on their professions rather than telling audiences how to vote. He discusses his concerns about the influence of communist and socialist ideologies, particularly on college campuses and younger generations. Doherty also emphasizes the importance of remaining vigilant about threats to American freedom, drawing historical comparisons to illustrate why citizens should never take their liberties for granted. He and Brett discuss inflation, government assistance, and the potential consequences of policies they believe can increase economic dependence on government.
