Coach Generelli Part 3 – 2 Yrs @ UNC; Coaching Raritan to State Title; Asst. Coach Japan U17 Team

The Here We Go High School Football Podcast welcomes our longtime friend and former Middletown South coaching colleague, Coach Bob Generelli, who is certainly no stranger to our audience on the Here We Go High School Football Podcast. Coach G, an Offensive Line Coach by trade, is widely known around the Shore Conference and the State as a highly successful Head Coach. He has been inducted to numerous Hall of Fames including: the Middletown North Lion Hall of Fame, the New Jersey Coaches Association HOF, the New Jersey Football Coaches Association HOF, the Shore Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2014 and the Raritan High School HOF. In 15 years as a head coach he compiled a career record of 110-48-2 including winning 2 CJ Group 4 titles at Middletown South in 1990 and 1992 and the CJ 2 Title at Raritan in 2004 bringing the Rockets their first title in school history. Coach Generelli’s teams appeared in a total of 7 sectional final games. In Part 3 Coach G describes his coaching journey taking him to the next level at UNC for 2 years and 2 College Bowl Experiences with the Tar Heels. Coach then returns to NJ and becomes the Head Coach of the Raritan Rockets, leading the team to it's first NJ State Sectional Title in 2004 with a 12-0 record. Coach G then returns to the college ranks in between 2 stints as the Raritan Head Coach and coaches with Kevin Callahan at Monmouth University for 2 years while pursing his Masters Degree. Coach G concludes the episode by describing his unique opportunity to coach the Japan U17 Team in the International Bowl in 2021.____________________________Here We Go!
