Coach Kyle Draper used to be a pastor and is now in the content creation business, or, as he explains, the content compounding business. He and his team help realtors, lenders and entrepreneurs grow their business organically. As a solopreneur experiencing growing pains, the days leading up to recording this episode was particularly challenging for me. I have debated even publishing this episode, but I think it is important to show people the highs AND the lows of business ownership. It’s not easy, it ebbs and flows, you need to have emotional fortitude and be willing to take the good with the bad. I am happy that Coach Kyle was the interview I had on this particular day. As a former pastor, I knew he would be okay with me crying in his presence and allowing me to be vulnerable. He mentions a few key things to me in this interview, where he himself is honest and vulnerable about the ups and downs of owning a business. Sometimes imposter syndrome rears its ugly head and to have someone you look up to say “I’ve been there” and “you’ve got this” helps to get through that moment.
