Coalitiepartijen PVV, VVD en NSC botsen met verkeersminister Madlener over de aanpak van fatbikes, een Kamermeerderheid wil dat het alcoholslot terugkeert en de Antwerpse haven wordt een proeftuin voor op afstand bestuurde huurauto's. Verkeersminister Barry Madlener wil de problemen met opgevoerde fatbikes oplossen door meer en strenger te handhaven. Hij herhaalde in het debat over verkeersveiligheid niets te zien in een helmplicht en een minimumleeftijd van veertien jaar voor alleen fatbikes.
