North Carolina struggled mightily in the middle of the ACC Hoops schedule and now finds itself needing to have a near-flawless run to end the conference schedule if they anticipate an at-large NCAA tournament berth. As the latter games of the season present lesser competition, the onus is on the Tar Heels to win every game to even remain in consideration for the big dance. Hubert Davis's team did what they had to this week, knocking off NC State and UVa at home after leading for the entirety of both contests. Jae'Lyn Withers's resurgence has not only shaken up the lineup, but has created opportunity for multiple levels of better execution on the court.
