After a brutal west coast swing that saw UNC winless in California, the Tar Heels returned to the friendly confines of Eastern Standard Time. Picking up an expected win at home against an outmatched Notre Dame team shook off some of the bad feelings that surrounded the program, however it was the major come-from-behind win on the road against a high-caliber UVa squad that showed that this squad may still have a say in the conference.
