From conscious anthems to lovers rock classics, Cocoa Tea’s smooth vocals and uplifting messages have made him a true legend in the reggae world. During this two-hour tribute, we celebrate his incredible legacy by playing some of his biggest hits, from "Rocking Dolly" to "Young Lover", "Good Life", and "Holy Mount Zion". I’ll also be bringing you highlights from some of my interviews with him over the past two decades—his thoughts, his stories, and his wisdom in his own words. We’ll also hear heartfelt tributes from some of the people who knew him best—King Jammy, Chaka Demus, Richie Stephens, Warrior King, Nadine Sutherland and David Rodigan—as they share their memories of a man who gave so much to reggae music.
