Coconino National Forest Implements Stage 2 Fire Restrictions

Send us a text and chime in!The Coconino National Forest has implemented Stage 2 Fire Restrictions to reduce the risk of human-caused wildfires during a period of high fire danger and severe fire weather conditions. The restrictions took effect on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 8 a.m. and are scheduled to remain in place through September 30, 2026, at 8 a.m., unless rescinded earlier. The restrictions apply to all National Forest System lands, roads and trails within the boundaries of the Coconino National Forest.
