Code Orange have a new album, “The Above,” a new drummer in Max Portnoy, and stories for days about Slipknot, Corey Taylor, Korn, Billy Corgan, and System of a Down. Singer Jami Morgan and Max talk about working with legendary producer Steve Albini on the band’s new studio album, “The Above,” the prep that Max did to join the band and learn the music, and what it was like to record all together in one room.
