Coffee Beanery Sip and Share: A Candid Chat with the CB Girls

from Coffee Beanery | Sip & Share

Welcome to another lively episode of Coffee Beanery Sip and Share! We’re Laurie, Patti, and Britain—better known as the CB Girls. Today, we’re diving into a myriad of topics, from unexpected birthday surprises to turtle rescues, and of course, the latest coffee updates. Birthdays and Surprises Laurie kicked off with her birthday week adventure in Florida, sharing the joy of having cake every night and the unexpected delight of spending a whole week with her daughter, London. It’s been years since they’ve had so much time together, and the surprise made the trip even more special. Technical Glitches and Snapping Sounds We had a bit of a hiccup with our microphones (thanks, Bill, for always being our IT hero!), but we powered through. There was a mysterious snapping sound that kept us on our toes, but Logan came to the rescue to sort it out. Turtle Tales Patti shared her recent encounters with turtles, from helping a snapping turtle cross the road to discovering turtle eggs in her yard. Her family even adopted a baby painted turtle as a pet, navigating the challenges of keeping it healthy and happy. Did you know turtles hibernate and don’t breathe for months? Fascinating stuff! Coffee Buzz Exciting news on the coffee front—our new flavors are flying off the shelves! Chocolate Peanut Butter, Cherry Vanilla, Butter Pecan, and Chocolate Marshmallow are the hot favorites. We’re thrilled that you’re loving them as much as we do. And yes, all flavors are now available in pods, both regular and decaf! Father's Day Plans We also chatted about our plans for Father’s Day. Laurie’s ready with gifts and excited to spend the day swimming and cooking out at her son’s place. Britain shared the fun of gifting her husband and son matching shoes, adding a cute touch to their celebrations. Collecting Craze Britain’s collecting hobbies came up—American Girl dolls, Pottery, and more. Her passion for organizing and finding unique items is always inspiring. She’s got a knack for making each collection special. Pool Adventures and Car Troubles We reminisced about childhood days spent in the pool and the transition to preferring dry land as adults. Britain’s kids, however, still love their pool time, rain or shine. On a different note, car stories took a twist with Kathy’s adventure involving a woodchuck that chewed up her car’s interior—wild, right? New Coffee Initiatives We’re also thrilled about our new initiative with a Costa Rican coffee farm. After visiting and witnessing their dedication to the community and the environment, we’re committed to supporting their efforts. Stay tuned for more details this fall. Signing Off As we wrapped up, we reminded everyone about our ongoing Father's Day Sale and the exciting new K-cups and unflavored coffees now available. Thank you for joining us for another fun-filled episode. Have a wonderful week, and don't forget to sip and share the love!
