Coffee Break: Are Your Marketing Techniques Pushing Customers Away?

Are you unintentionally building a wall between you and your customer with the tech and tactics you use in your marketing?  It's gotten too easy to just toss out a calendar link without a second thought. Is it possible that someone is experiencing that action as a sign of disrespect or as a negative reflection of the value you place on the exchange?   There is a concept I teach called triangle talk that I share here that keeps these kinds of little mishaps from infecting your customer relationships.  Too sensitive? Maybe, but ask your customers the same question. If it bothers me, it probably bothers some of them.  And don't couch their reaction saying that they aren't your ideal customer. You may not be giving them the chance to show you that they are.   Know, like, and trust are tenuous things.
