As Australia's longest serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner, she has led sweeping cultural reforms for the Australian Defence Force and established 'Males Champions of Change.' This incredible strategy to get the 'who's who' of powerful men involved in tackling work place gender inequality. On the 29th September 2017 she was appointed by the UN Human rights council as a Special Rapporteur and independent expert on the issue of discrimination against women in law and practise. She is a member of the AFPs advisory board and in 2016 was appointed an officer of the Order of Australia.
