Cognitive Decline in Young People & Why Forced Apologies Don’t Matter

from The ProBoh Show · host Rob Grams

In the first part of today’s show, we looked at new research showing that memory and cognitive disability rates are rising among young people, and discussed what might be driving the trend—from lifestyle and stress to environmental and health factors. Today’s unpopular opinion was “Demanding an apology is pointless.” We explored whether apologies should be freely given rather than forced, and what it actually means when someone says sorry only because they’re pressured to. In the second half of the show, we asked 100 humans: “Name a reason someone might send you flowers.” The answers ranged from romantic to ridiculous—and some were surprisingly wholesome.
