COGNITIVE DISSONANCE

Cognitive Dissonance is a song about divisions, both religious, political, and cultural. The first verse is a story of two childhood friends who are not allowed to play together because of centuries of religions dogma that they were taught. The second is a social commentary on the ideological divide that exists in our society because of our social and news media bubbles. The song ends with the guitar and electric violin screaming at each other like the characters the lyrics describe, fading out but never coming to a resolution....
