Another challenging session down on Airfield Lake with cold northerly winds, dropping temperatures, and still no signs of spawning carp. Despite tough conditions, a change of approach with EnerGize hookbaits, particle mixes, and small PVA mesh bags produced a hard-fighting 25lb 13oz common during the first night.
