Cole Sprout on being a Team Captain at Stanford, life on campus, and the Olympic year

Today I’m joined by Cole Sprout! Cole runs for the University Of Stanford and has already built up quite the running resume. Back in high school he was the best of the best and nothings changed at his career in college so far. He’s a five time All-American, 3 time Pac-12 team XC champion, and six time Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll. His personal bests include 3:56 (mile), 13:24 (5k), and 27:42 (10k). Also he had the chance to represent the U.S. last summer in the NACAC U23 5k championship where he came away with the win which we cover in this episode. He’s not only a very talented runner but also very talented in the classroom. In this episode we go over his major, his favorite teacher, what his role of being a team captain entails, discuss how he’s preparing for the Olympic trials this summer and more.
