Colin Simmons Shines on Field and Off | Texas Longhorns Football News

Colin Simmons, Texas Longhorns junior EDGE, is rewriting the playbook—not just on the field but in his community. Named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and a Wuerffel Trophy semifinalist, Simmons leads with purpose through Clay’s Color Crew, a nonprofit he co-founded with his mother to empower underserved South Dallas autism communities. Inspired by his brother Clayton, he also hosts youth football camps, blending leadership, academics, and athletic excellence. On the gridiron, he’s already delivering elite stats, including tackles for loss and sacks, and led the team last season—proving that greatness isn’t just measured in wins, but in impact.
