Collaboration Across Healthcare is the Path Forward

from Hear From Her: The Women in Healthcare Leadership Podcast Series

Meet two global healthcare leaders on a mission to improve how the system moves forward for women. Elcin Barker Ergun is CEO of Menarini Group, the largest pharmaceutical company in Italy. Virginia Kaklamani, MD, is professor of medicine, Division of Hematology-Medical Oncology at The University of Texas Health Science Center and leads the breast cancer program at the Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. In this episode, they share their personal journeys to leadership positions, and talk about why it's OK to say that men and women are different (and how that benefits women). They also believe that kids growing up now will just expect women to hold leadership roles, in medicine and beyond. This podcast is not available for CME/CE/CPD credits.
